Miraculously I made it through my 18.1 miles. With the flu. Uphill. At 6000 feet elevation.
Suffice it to say that I did a lot better than expected considering the circumstances. For now, I'm exhausted, still sick, and in need of some zzz's. Full race report when I get back to Florida and can upload all my pictures and video.
And just to put a plug in for the Ragnar Relay series, if any of you live near one of these relays, it's well worth it. In fact, if you want to come to Florida in November, I'm going to start a team for the Florida relay. Clearwater to Daytona Beach, November 20-21, 191 miles of pure fun. I need 11 people. Let me know.
You did it! Great job. Now get some sleep.
ReplyDeleteI was looking for your team when we were driving through Heber on Saturday morning...
ReplyDelete18.1 miles in 24 hours? I would probably die.
Relays must be addicting. The few people I know who have done them keep doing them again and again!
