NEW JOB!!

It's funny how I looked and looked and looked for jobs in Florida for months before I found a job. And in Utah it only takes me 3 weeks. Lesson learned: less population, less job competition. Simple as that. Oh, and the economy in Utah isn't in the tank like it is in sunny Florida.

You're looking at the newest employee of a running series. It's true. I'm officially a RACE DIRECTOR for a new race being announced for 2011. (I get paid to do this?!?!?) I can't quite tell you all the details yet, as I'm still under a 30-day probationary period, and I'd be really embarrassed if I told you what company I work for and then it turns out that I did a crappy job and they decided to hire someone else. :( Hopefully that won't happen, and they'll see how amazing I can be. So if I get the job permanently, I'll definitely let y'all know who I work for and what race I'll be directing. But for now, know that I'm extremely happy that I've been given this chance to prove myself as a competent race director, and I'm so excited to create a race for people just like me -- runner nerds. I love you guys!
