3 Years and Counting

So I realize it's Wednesday night and I have yet to post my weekly running schedule. Gah! I'm seriously the world's biggest slacker.

So here it is, in all of it's lateness glory:

Monday: 5 mile run (check! Boo-yah!)
Tuesday: 9 x 400m speed intervals (done and done)
Wednesday: 3 mile run + strength
Thursday: Yoga
Friday: 5 mile run at race pace
Saturday: 12 mile run

Yesterday was my third anniversary (happy anniversary, Babe!), and you should all be so proud that I still managed to do my intervals on a day full of anniversary festivities. Thank you, thank you, I'm here all week....

I make it sound like I was super busy yesterday, when in fact this is finals week for my husband (finals = hours upon hours upon hours of studying therapeutic exercise, orthopeodics, pathology, yada yada yada), so we didn't actually have anything spectacular planned. Although we did go to Subway (turkey on wheat, baby!). We are postponing anniversary plans until next week, when all the tests are done. Oh, the life of being married to a physical therapy student...

Aren't we cute?! Seriously, it's so cute, it almost makes me want to puke.

I just scarfed down a Green Smoothie. Apparently I'm a little slow to jump on the bandwagon, but have you had these before? Uh-may-zing. Mine don't really turn out all that green, though. I should call it a Gray Smoothie, because that's what color mine look like. Don't worry, I put loads (upon loads) of spinach in there, but I think the dark color of the blueberries overpowers the green. Who knew spinach could taste so good?

So now that my tummy is sufficiently stuffed full of fruit, spinach, and milk, I will need to digest for a couple of hours before I hit the gym for my scheduled run. We don't need any poop accidents...

*And I hope y'all like my new layout. The picture was taken at the top of Avon Pass in Utah, where I ran the Wasatch Back Ragnar Relay.

  4. I love following your blog. Hopefully one day I can get to where you are. My goal right now is to just run a 5K. I was hoping to this year, but HA...looks like next year for me. Congrats on the anniversary!

  8. Congrats on the three years.
I've been hearing a ton about green smoothies, and seeing lots of photos of them on blogs, but I haven't been brave enough to try one yet. Maybe one day soon. For now, I'll just live vicariously through those of you who actually enjoy blended spinach.
