Week Recap: B+

So, you're all probably wondering how I did on my accountability challenge, right? As you can see from the title of my post, it wasn't a complete success, but it sure wasn't a failure, either.

I missed my Thursday yoga workout, and instead of running 10 miles on Saturday I ran 6. As you can see from my post yesterday I was not in the mood to run. I didn't even want to run 2 miles, let alone 10. So making it to 6 was a pretty big deal. If I would've gotten my butt out of bed earlier, then I would've been more excited about running 10 miles. But it was already too hot and humid outside (I complain about the weather a lot, don't I? Oh, well. I really do despise Florida summers), so I had to do the ten six miles on the treadmill. (And I used to like running on the treadmill? What the hell was wrong with me?!)

I was even watching The Matrix (one of my fave movies) on the giant TV in front of my treadmill and still couldn't get my mind off the mind-numbing boringness of it all.

So, overall, not bad. I finally made it to the above-20 weekly mileage mark for the first time since the Wasatch Back. At least I'm making progress. Slow progress, but progress still the same.

  1. Some days getting out the door is a victory in and of itself. Nice job on the B+!

  2. 6 miles on a treadmill is a lot. I think I've only done that once, and nearly went postal by the end. But, good job on the accountability. Do we get to see this week's schedule?

  3. It seems like the accountability still worked though!
