She's back

Remember the long denim skirt? You know, the One Timer walking on the treadmill in a skirt?

She came back. In the same skirt.

But this time she decided to take the ellipticals for a spin. That's gotta be more uncomfortable than the treadmill, wouldn't ya think? Ah, I guess I can't dub her One-Timer anymore. Forever more she will be known simply as Denim Skirt.

As per requests from two of my readers, I've decided to post the Green Smoothie recipe. Although, let me preface this by saying that the measurements are not exact. I usually just throw a little bit of this, a little bit of that, ooooh I want some more of that...you get the idea ("How can I get s'more of something if I haven't had anything yet?" <---- A prize for whoever names that movie first.)

The Green (Gray) Smoothie by Christy
1/3 cup fat free vanilla yogurt
1/4 cup of skim milk
1/2 large banana
two large handfuls of spinach
1/2 cup of berries
ice (if needed)

Blend. That's it.

From this:

To this:

Honestly, I was surprised at how much you can't even taste the spinach. I was expecting some kind of V-8 flavored smoothie, but it turns out quite berry-ish. It looks kind of nasty, right? But it's not. And, really, anything to help me get more servings of veggies in my diet.

  2. thanks for the recipe!

my guess is denim skirt is just a woman with religious beliefs where it is considered more appropriate for woment to always wear ankle-length skirts. i had a student last year who did that. i'm impressed that she works out!

Your gym has some interestingly dressed people in it. Thanks for the smoothie recipe. And The Sandlot has got to be one of the greatest movies ever made!
